SV’s exhibition program is complemented by the ongoing presentation of discrete works by select artists, including Ann Ginsburgh Hofkin, Lisa Nebenzahl and Joel Pieper. All three engage a profound and aesthetic communion with the world. Hofkin creates straight (unaltered) photographs, on paper or aluminum, that illuminate the exquisite presence of trees and other natural entities. Nebenzahl layers thresholds of light and shadow in timeless composite prints that glow with a sense of longing and memory. Pieper works in wild open spaces to manifest oil paintings resonating with his deep love and concern for Mother Nature.
